FILM fans can enjoy another Monday movie matinee as highly acclaimed hit ‘Lion’ comes to Stourbridge Town Hall.

The 2016 biographical drama directed by Garth Davis is being shown at the Crown Centre venue from 1.30pm on Monday (June 5).

Based on the non-fiction book A Long Way Home by Saroo Brierley with Larry Buttrose, the film tells the story of a five-year-old Indian boy who gets lost on the streets of Calcutta, thousands of kilometers from home.

He survives many challenges before being adopted by a couple in Australia, but then 25 years later, he sets out to find his lost family.
