CHARITIES have benefitted from thousands of pounds thanks to Stourport’s previous Mayor.
Councillor Ken Henderson, along with wife and Mayoress Lin, raised more than £3,300 during his year as the town’s Civic leader during 2016/17.
He donated £1,500 to Midlands Air Ambulance and £1,500 to the Kidderminster & District branch of the RSPCA.
A further £159 was donated to the local Headway Centre, a £159 to the Emily Jordan Foundation and £50 to the Elizabeth Mills Day Centre.
