A REDDITCH company has secured a £60,000 grand to purchase new state-of-the-art equipment, which will create an additional six new jobs in the region.

Birmingham Prototypes Ltd, which specialises in sheet metal work, can now purchase a new deep drawer hydraulic press at its site on Madley Road Industrial Estate.

Managing director Michael Adams said: “To continually develop and diversify our products, ensure our clients are happy with the range of service and products we develop and the time and quality to deliver, we needed to invest in our machinery and have the very best machinery on the market.”

Funding was arranged by Central Finance and awarded through The Birmingham Growth Programme and part funded by the European Development Programme.
