MORE than £1,300 has been raised for the County Air Ambulance Trust by a Redditch business.
Gardner Denver, a manufacturer of industrial compressors, blowers, and pumps, recently held a family fun day which saw hundreds of employees, friends and family turn up and donate to the trust, the businesses nominated charity voted for by employees.
Sara Bennett, from the company, said: "The sun shone (a rarity in the UK), and great fun was had by all. We look forward to an even bigger and better event next year."
The event was officially opened by Redditch Mayor Jenny Wheeler who also judged a bake off style cooking competition, which was won by Nicola Dawson.
