A FIGHT involving a weapon in Bromsgrove yesterday afternoon resulted in armed police being called out to break it up.
West Mercia Police received a call from a resident at around 3.15pm on Wednesday, October 18, to reports of a public order offence in Churchfields Close.
A spokesman said: "It is reported that a fight between six individuals had been taking place, and it is believed a weapon matching the description of a blunt object had been used."
Residents in neighbouring streets described seeing 10 police cars racing through Bromsgrove's roads.
Armed police were among the officers, which West Mercia Police says was a 'matter of precaution'.
A 59-year-old man, a 33-year-old man and a 31-year-old man, all from Bromsgrove, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of affray - group fighting in a public place that disturbs the peace.
All three were released under investigation.
