PEOPLE are being urged to share their views on the future of mental health and wellbeing services in Sandwell.

A questionnaire has been created by Sandwell and West Birmingham CCG, which commissions or buys health services in the region, so the public can have their say on the local services which help people to keep mentally well.

The CCG is currently reviewing some local mental health and wellbeing support services and needs the views of local people and of people who use/used those services on what could be made better.

The questionnaire is available to complete at https://goo.gl/aRi7ez before Thursday, November 30.

Dr Liz England, mental health clinical lead for Sandwell and West Birmingham CCG, said: “We would appreciate the public taking the time to feedback their views.

“All the information received will be analysed and collated into a report to be considered by the CCG as we plan and commission mental health and wellbeing services for the future of Sandwell and West Birmingham.”

The kinds of service offered for mental health and wellbeing in Sandwell and West Birmingham currently include:

· Guided self help

· Signposting to other services and help navigating to them.

· Peer support and access to social groups

· Gardening programmes

· Physical health care advice

· Fitness programmes

· Education and learning

· Social activities

· Healthy lifestyles and active lives

· Arts, gardening, creative activities

· Befriending

· Group work
