A FAMILY run Alcester home care operator has moved premises so it can be closer to those it helps.
Helping Hands, which has branches across the country, has moved to Stourbridge Road in Bromsgrove.
The Redditch and Bromsgrove branch was formerly run out of Alcester but it was decided to move it closer into the community.
Branch manager Sarah Underhill said: “We wanted to be closer to our carers and their customers.
“Our aim is to ensure our customers receive the best possible care so that they can remain as independent as possible in their own homes, and the new Bromsgrove office is an extension of that commitment."
She added: “With Helping Hands, our home care services can be little or often, short or long term. It is about providing the right level of support.
“Our roots are local, with over 50 branches nationwide, and we have been supporting individuals at home for nearly 30 years. We remain a family owned and managed company with family values at our heart.”
Four staff are based at the branch, managing domiciliary care services.
The move was made possible thanks to Redditch property agents John Truslove.
