THE Transport Museum at Wythall hopes to be just the ticket for those looking for family-friendly activities this bank holiday.

The attraction will offer free admission for one child with each adult on Easter Sunday and Monday, on April 1 and 2 plus there will be an Easter bunny hunt competition.

Museum Chairman Dave Taylor said “With the early Easter we’re having pulling out all the stops to clean our buses after the snow and ice but we're on target for a great bank holiday event.

“Visitors can ride on the museum’s vintage buses through the glorious spring countryside and the kids can enjoy a ride on the miniature train or play in the Kids Kabin activity area, there’s literally something for everyone.”

The museum of opening at 10.30am for the events. Parking is free and buses will pick up passengers from Holloway Circus at 10.30am and 11.45am, with return journeys from Wythall at 3pm and 4.20pm.

The museum is also running extra bus services at 1pm and 2.30pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays during the Easter school holidays up to April 14.
