A WOMAN has been spotted stealing items from graves at Wyre Forest Cemetery.
At approximately 1pm on Sunday, July 8, a woman was seen appearing to take various items from several graves at the Stourport cemetery and crematorium.
The woman is described as white, of a large build, approximately 5ft and was wearing a patterned ankle-length skirt.
It is thought she left the scene in a black Nissan Juke.
Stourport Safer Neighbourhood Officer, PC Sam Maher said: "We are working with the Crematorium who are assisting us with liaising with the families at this very distressing time for them and the whole community.
“If you have any information that could help us to further our investigations or know who is responsible please speak to the police directly or remain anonymous by contacting Crimestoppers."
Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting incident number 243s.
