FLUSH with success following Hereford Butter Market's first Big Day tomorrow will see nearly 30 independent businesses sharing space in the new "pop up" stalls.

Owner Darren Sockett said. "The first one went excellent and we've now made some old-fashioned stalls. "What I'm moving to is 25 pop-up stalls on a weekly basis, so you can always find something different while building on the core business."

Supplementing the permanent businesses in the market for one day only there will be a feast of food and drink producers, craftspeople and vintage delights.

In addition to hot food supplied by The Smokey Oak there will chocolate-maker Sue Gilmour from Bromyard, bread by Peter Cook from Bishops Frome and curries from Spiced by Rayeesa among others.

Darren, who took the Butter Market over 12 months ago, added: "I'm trying to bring the market back to Hereford.

"We've been getting a lot of support, people can see the changes. I'm really excited about it myself."

Live music begins at 10.30am, stalls open from 9.30am (rest of the market, normal opening hours 8.30am).
