A 70-mile tour for classic cars is returning this year to a south Herefordshire village.

Madley Miglia started last year and is back again in June, supported by Brightwells Vintage and Classic Car Auctions.

The tour developed out of the classic vehicles at Madley Show and Drive events and aims to raise much-needed funds for the upkeep of Madley Church.

Organiser Colin Barratt said: "Whilst it isn't a competitive event it gives drivers and navigators a chance to tour less used roads in the beautiful countryside of the borders using clear dedicated maps and diagrams.

"There will be breakfast and tea provided and an excellent lunch stop on the way. If there are any problems support vehicles will be available to help out.

"Last year's event attracted a high quality entry varying from a 1928 Le Mans Bentley to two Lambretta Scooters so there is a place for any classic or "interesting" vehicle although very wide "low slung" cars might struggle in the hills and narrow lanes."

The event in on June 9. If you are interested and would like more information or an entry form Mr Colin Barratt on 01981 250108 or email frogmorephoto@btinternet.com.
