AN historic Cradley Heath building will be opening up its creaking doors to people who want to indulge in an evening of spooky creative writing during the Halloween weekend.

Cradley Heath Creative and Haden Hill House Museum will hold the ‘As Evening Falls’ event from 7pm until 10pm on Saturday, October 28, in response to local demand, while tying in with the programme ‘Museums at Night 2017’.

In the warming-up workshop, visitors will explore the shadier corners of the historic building, before moving on to the darkly creative literary responses the house undoubtedly inspires.

There will also be an opportunity to share the fruits of their endeavours, while suitably gothic refreshments – to sustain the fevered imagination – will be provided.

Booking tickets for the event, costing £5 each, is essential as places are limited. It is open to anyone aged 16 or over, by calling 01384 569444.
