A KIDDERMINSTER-based business will try to spread a little festive joy to those less fortunate this Christmas.

Quads N Castles will be providing food for homeless people and those in need in the Wyre Forest area on the evening of Christmas Day outside the Kidderminster Foodbank, which is based in Baxter Church Hall in the Bull Ring.

They will be providing free burgers, hotdogs or veggie burgers, with chips and a hot cup of soup between 6pm and 7pm on December 25.

The business is also appealing to anyone who has any spare blankets, sleeping bags or warm items to drop them to employees from 5pm - so they can hand them out to those in need.

Dave Griffin, Quads N Castles owner, said: "We are trying to bring back some community spirit within Wyre Forest with the likes of Brintons Bash, Borrington Bash and many others we support locally and thought we could support the homeless and vulnerable adults we have in the Wyre Forest .

"My reasons for doing this are I know what it is like to be on the streets from my youth, with no or very little support - so I like to help those in need as much as I possibly can.

"Anyone who would like to donate any packaged food for us to give away to those in need are more than welcome and would be appreciated."
