A 21-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested for a suspected immigration offence in Malvern.
Police, tax and border agency officers visited Malvern Nails, in Church Street, Malvern, on Wednesday, July 4.
The 21-year-old man left the property when they arrived, however he was later arrested.
He was detained by immigration authorities and has subsequently been bailed.
The manager of Malvern Nails, who refused to give her name, said: "My husband knows him in some way. He doesn't work here.
"They [officers] said to me they come in most of the nail bars in the UK.
"They are just carrying out normal checking. It's affected my customers, I've lost customers as well and everyone is looking at me and asking me.
"I've done nothing wrong."
Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs is carrying out its own enquiries after seizing documents about the business.
