CHRIS Lewis-Farley has completed his challenge to cycle from Malvern to Gretna Green to raise funds for Malvern Mencap Society.
He completed the non-stop, 250 mile journey in just 19 hours and 20 minutes, s raising raised £252 in the process.
Mr Lewis-Farley, a landscape officer at Malvern Hills District Council, has a history of testing himself in tough events such as the Malvern Hills Marathon, as a runner on the winning yacht in the Three Peaks Yacht Race, the Forest of Dean 'Ironman' Triathlon and many other such challenges.
Malvern Mencap has its headquarters at the Malvern Scout headquarters in Spring Lane and, in partnership with the Scouts and Heart of England Mencap, provides a much-needed day service for adults with a learning disability as well as supporting individuals and other services in the Malvern area.
