A WORCESTERSHIRE animal rescue shelter is encouraging people to 'hop to it' and rehome a rabbit.

RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire's new rabbit house at The Holdings is full, and there are several bunnies looking for their forever homes.

Hope is one of the rabbits who has recently come into care through no fault of her own. She is described as a very pretty six-month-old Mini Lop, who is friendly and good natured.

Geraldine Haynes, branch trustee, said: "Hope would like a loving permanent home with a new friend to run around with.

"So if there is a rabbit already in a home, who would like a friend or another rabbit in our care to bond with, Hope would be very happy.

"Hope has been vet checked and is in good condition. She has been spayed and vaccinated. Please consider adopting a rescued rabbit rather than buying one from a pet shop."

Visit the local branch website at rspca-worcester.org for more rescued animals seeking adoption or call The Holdings Rescue Centre on 07484 905707 for enquiries about rabbits and cats.

The centre in Holdings Lane, Broomhall, Kempsey, Worcester WR5 3FP is open every day from 11am until 4pm (except Wednesdays) to meet the rabbits and cats.
