SIR -
Seeing our MP Robin Walker on the Sunday Politics show defending the PM’s white paper on a new Brexit deal was like watching another car crash in slow motion yet again.
Why do Westminster Government Ministers keep repeating the same disastrous methodology?
They devise a clumsy strategy that nobody believes, then over a period of time carry on with the said doomed strategy regardless of the facts and the public reaction to it, before convincing themselves they have done enough to push an agenda that only they believe in, in a cynical manner which in truth nobody really believes in.
Robin also seems to forget that his constituents of Worcester whom he represents voted to leave.
Like father, like son….Those of you with memories long enough will remember that prior to 1970 Peter Walker was hostile to the idea of joining the Common Market but seemed to change his mind as he rose up the Greasy Pole in Ted Heath’s government.
Young Robin seems to be following in similar footsteps with the May Government.

Parliamentary candidate Worcester City GE 2017
