PUPILS at a Bromsgrove school have been supporting people in their community through this year's harvest celebrations.
Lickey End First School, in School Lane, held a harvest assembly on Thursday, October 16.
Youngsters and their parents donated food, which was then passed on to the town charity, the Basement Project.
The charity provides practical and emotional support for youngsters aged between 16 and 25-years-old, who are homeless or facing homelessness.
Operations manager Jackie Hooper and Marina Price, an outreach worker, visited the school during the event, and collected the items that had been donated.
Ann Hill, the school's headteacher, said: "As ever the children sang, danced and spoke out beautifully, entertaining a packed hall full of appreciative parents and grandparents."
