GREEN-fingered residents helped to raise more than £1,000 for two local churches at the annual Tardebigge Plant Sale.
The event at St Bartholomew's Church on May 12 saw money raised through the plant sale and stalls selling reserves, home-made cakes, and Traidcraft products, as well as a raffle.
Lucy Parkes, one of the organisers, said: "Thanks so much to all those who came and supported Tardebigge Plant Sale last Saturday morning and to the Advertiser for promoting it.
"This friendly community event went very well indeed, raising over £1,000 to support the local churches of St Bartholomew’s and St Mary’s which are funded entirely by donation."
