WEST Midlands Ambulance Service paramedics, dealing with a patient in critical condition, were left a note about a blocked driveway.
The note was left on ambulance windscreen while paramedics dealt with a patient vomiting blood, who was taken to hospital as an emergency case.
The note read: "You may be saving lives but don't park your van in a stupid place and block my drive."
The incident reportedly happened in Birmingham on Friday, and paramedics were there for less than 30 minutes.
Paramedic Tasha Starkey tweeted: "Minimal on scene time, arrived at hospital to find this note - this patient was time critical."
Another paramedic, Max Ashley-Collins, wrote: "I’m really disappointed that this has started becoming more common place.
"Would you still write the same note if it was one of your family we were coming to treat?"
On Facebook West Midlands Ambulance Service shared the note and used the hashtag "#patientscomefirst", and also tweeted: "Thanks for all the comments you've been sending through about this case.
"We still can't believe it, and it appears you can't either.
"Leaves us feeling really rather sad - thanks again for all your support."
