VISITORS to Hampton Ferry Show in Evesham on Sunday were greeted with bright sunshine and a fabulous choice of attractions and activities.

The show has become a firm favourite in the local calender, with many who return each year to enjoy what’s on offer.

The whole crowd enjoyed this year’s new attraction of sheep and pony agility put on by Cath Brockie of Corran Dean.

Entertainment throughout the day proved popular, with dance displays from the talented United Dance Academy, whilst local vocalists Colin Pitts, songsters Griff and Eve Linton and Some People brought their own sounds.

The Dogs Trust Dog Show had both adults and children showing off their beloved pets, all delighted when they were awarded rosettes.

Earlier this year Raphael's Restaurant suffered a devastating fire and had been closed only re-opening on July 14. With donations and a raffle, Diana Raphael was delighted to present a cheque for £700 to the Firefighters Charity to Green Watch Commander Andrew Birch.

Organiser Fran Webb said: “We have so much talent in our town and so much community spirit it’s a pleasure to be involved in such a great family event.

"It’s especially rewarding to know everyone’s contribution is so appreciated as our visitors from outside Evesham regularly comment on how much they have enjoyed themselves.”
