A KIDDERMINSTER-based band are set to release their debut EP next month, which was mastered at the Abbey Road Studios.
Dharma Bums will release Nothing to Lose Blues at the end of July.
Having recorded the EP at Serious Studios, in Stourport, with the help of Colin Hutcheon, Alan Evans and Rob Groucutt, the band travelled to London's Abbey Road Studios in order to get the tracks mastered.
Kevin Wrench, lead singer, said: "We are extremely grateful to Colin and Alan at Serious Studios for giving us the opportunity to master our music at Abbey Road - it was an incredible experience and we are really excited about the results and are very much looking forward to the release of our first EP."
The five-track EP combines a mixture of genres including blues, country, folk, jazz and rock and roll - and features local guest musicians including George Alan on trumpet, Chris Yates on piano, and Matt Worley on banjo. Local artist Craig Simmons has designed the album cover art.
Dharma Bums formed in 2016 and played their first gig at last year's Kidderminster Beer Festival. The group have been performing together since, including a recent appearance at Bewdley's Hopfest.
