TWO dozen lorry driver vacancies are being offered with an expanding Worcestershire logistics business which is exhibiting at this summer’s Truckfest.
Kidderminster recruitment firm Workforce Driving is working in partnership with Worcester-based XPO Logistics who are on a recruitment drive to find 24 qualified drivers by taking a stand at the popular show, which is being held at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern between Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 July.
The event will see the companies seek the best candidates for XPO’s site in the city’s Wainwright Road, with all Class 1 driving vacancies needing to be filled by September.
The need for so many drivers has seen both companies decide to go and look for them at Truckfest.
Amy Byng, from Church Street-based Workforce, said: “Recent expansion of the business has seen a big rise in demand for XPO drivers and we are going to help them find the right people here in Worcestershire.
“This is a great boost for the local jobs market and we are looking for drivers who want to make the most of this fantastic opportunity with a professional, growing company. We hope to see as many candidates as possible at Truckfest.”
People can get tickets for Truckfest at www.truckfest.co.uk and find out more about the jobs by contacting Workforce Driving Jobs on 0845 257 6686.
