A COLLECTION in Kidderminster town centre helped to raise more than £200 for a Kidderminster charity in their aim to support children with disabilities.
Staff from Crackerjacks Children's Trust - and the charity's mascot, Deefer the Disability Dog - were outside the town's Wilkinsons store, in Market Street, on Saturday (October 14) helping to fundraise for the charity.
Throughout the day, the charity raised £220 to help them support children with disabilities to provide specialist equipment and respite breaks.
Crackerjacks CEO, Terry Bull, said: "Sincere thanks to Wilkinsons and their staff for allowing us to collect at the store.
"So many people came to donate and say hello to our mascot Deefer, I would like to thank them all for their continued generosity and support.
"Without collections such as these, Crackerjacks would not be able to help as many children with disabilities and their families.
"We rely on kind donations as we do not receive any government funds."
