POLICE will be holding a series of free bicycle security marking events in the Bewdley area next weekend.

The Bewdley Safer Neighbourhood Team is inviting residents to pop along with their bikes and have them security marked free of charge - to increase their chances of being returned if they are ever stolen.

Events will be held on Saturday March 17 at Wyre Forest Visitor Centre Car Park, Callow Hill, from 9am until 11am; Rectory Lane, Rock Village, from 11.15am to 12.15.

On Sunday March 18 police will be at Low Habberley from 10am to 11am; in Arley Lane, Shatterford, from 11.15am to 12.15pm; at Wyre Hill (near St Annes Primary School) from 1.30pm to 2.30pm; at Tudor Road Play Area, Bark Hill, from 2.30 to 3.30pm; and in Shaw Hedge Road, Wribbenhall, from 3.30pm to 4.30pm.
