TRANSPORT with a difference and from a different age was on display at the St Michael’s village fete.
Vintage Rolls Royce cars from 1929 and 1931 were on display as well as a more recent model made in 1981.
There were also two vintage prams from the 1800s, both of which have featured in the television drama Downton Abbey.
Animals also had a significant role in the fete with rare breeds of pigeon along with canines of different shapes and sizes taking part in a dog show.
There was also a plant stall and other attractions as people enjoyed a very traditional summer village fete.
