ADULTS are being invited to attend a special event where they can explore a range of new learning opportunities.

Visitors can find out about the wide range of courses delivered through The Hive and Worcestershire County Council libraries, and meet a variety of local providers and tutors to discuss apprenticeship schemes, leisure courses and further education opportunities.

There will also be taster sessions for some courses, including Spanish, early years educators and teaching assistant courses. The Hive also has several rooms available for hire for training providers looking to deliver a course.

Hive library manager Janine Downes said: "This is the first time the Adult Learning Showcase has been held in The Hive and we are all excited about the opportunities that will be on offer. The event is perfect for adult learners who are looking to expand their options and broaden their horizons by learning a new skill; school leavers looking for advice and a direction to take after full time education, or people looking for a rewarding new hobby.

"I would encourage everybody to come along to The Hive and find out more about the world of opportunities available to Adult Learners in Worcestershire."

The free event will take place at The Hive on Thursday, July 13 from 5.30 to 7.30pm.
