PROFESSORJonathan Gibson, of the University of Aston Department of Vision Sciences, spoke to a packed house on March 28.
His talk covered treatments for this devastating eye condition and hope for the future.
Two new members came from Redditch on the 1327 train to Barnt Green and had no problem with the short walk from the station.

Sight Concern, Worcester, will introduce their consultation on services for the visually impaired followed by “Best Feet Forward”, a talk by chiropodist Karen Leigh.
