THEcanine society held its presentation match meeting at All Saint’s Hall, Bromsgrove.
Jane Wright, from Hereford, was our judge and 35 dogs were entered during the evening.
The evening began with the puppy walk for under sixmonth- old pups and this was very well supported with 12 puppies entered. The winner was Sarah Roper’s mini long haired Dachsund Moss.
The puppy match for six to 12- months-old pups was won by Mick and Jane Bond’s cocker spaniel Arthur.
The adult class went to Rebecca Price’s Hungarian viszla Freddie. She was also best in match winner.
Runner up was Vanessa Byrne with a cairn terrier. During the interval trophies were presented to winners of the annual points competitions as follows - Mick and Jane Bond, Rebecca Price, Lucy Dearn and Jan and Ray Chatterley. Many of our members will be competing at Crufts and anyone wishing to train their dogs for the showring is welcome to attend classes.
