Iona Ellis, daughter of Gareth and Pat Ellis, from Lower Peniarth, Meifod, and Chris Mooney Shihan, son of the late Michael and Elizabeth Mooney, from County Kildare, Ireland, were married at Christ Church, Bwlch-y-Cibau.
The bride was given away by her father and wore a white wedding gown.
The bridesmaids were the bride's sisters - Bethan Davies and Rhian Ellis.
The bestman was Alan Quinton and the ushers were Chris, Alex and Nick Mooney, and Hew Ellis.
The reception was held at Lower Peniarth.
The happy couple, who live in Rubery, will honeymoon in Thailand.
The bride is a chartered accountant and the groom is a teacher.
