THE severity of the proposed cuts in all our services across our county is shocking and very short term thinking.

One very vulnerable group is people with mental health issues with care units and day centres closing. Many are accommodated in bed and breakfast places and have to walk the streets during the day.

Many are abused and get involved in petty crime.

Who checks if they are taking their medication correctly?

What has happened to the care for our most vulnerable?

The cuts in funding are savage and a disgrace to our society.
