WE have this Tory Government, its MPs and Councillors, telling us things are getting better – they are helping people to work putting pressure on the vulnerable and disabled to encourage them to do so, they are hypocrites.
Worcestershire County Council is withdrawing its funding from a service that is working with disabled people, introducing them to working life, boosting their confidence and helping them to integrate into society.
Snax on Tracks and its volunteers provide a friendly, welcome, well-used service to train travellers and has done so for the last 15 years.
Putting aside any other reasons the council may want to put forward, and they will, it shows the completely mean and uncaring nature of this government, and it is because of government cuts to councils. Worcestershire have taken the easy option, targetting adult services, targetting vulnerable disabled and older people, there are no words to describe the actions of these people.
