Parking on pavements is a constant problem for pedestrians, especially those with mobility problems, mums with pushchairs and young children but particularly for people like Roger.

Roger is totally blind and relies on his guide dog to help him negotiate the dangers and obstructions he meets every day.

Often the most hazardous of these are vehicles that are parked on pavements by their thoughtless or careless owners, which force Roger and his dog out into often fast flowing heavy traffic (eg Barnt Green Road, Cofton).

We need a change in the law to force selfish drivers to think of others, as in London where it is illegal to park on pavements.
