Town is a disgrace

WHY is it that every time I walk down Bromsgrove High Street the town’s sweepers are stood talking or carrying out their personal shopping instead of sweeping and cleaning up the area?
Another question is where are the very expensive motorised sweepers that were purchased?
They were last seen working when the TV cameras were in town when Julie Kirkbride was in the headlines.
The town is a disgrace with litter and weeds growing almost everywhere.
If that wasn’t bad enough, the smell that comes from the passage way known as Clegg’s Entry is absolutely disgusting.
I have witnessed the street cleaner throwing a gallon of neat disinfectant up the wall.
No wonder people are not visiting the town with the sight, smell and ever increasing car parking charges of the town to deter visitors.
