Wonderful night

WHAT a pity Margaret Warman didn’t visit the marquee in Vines Park, Droitwich Spa, during the evening of June 2.

There, she would have been entertained by French accordionists and a German oompah band which provided excellent music and a very happy atmosphere.

There was no charge for this event because it was funded by the town council and organised on its behalf by both French and German twinning groups for the benefit of all age groups and open to everyone.

It was a wonderful evening to celebrate our Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
