RUTH Hadley led the way for Droitwich Dolphins at the Wolverhampton Open as she won a host of medals.

She achieved three first, two second and three thirdplaces, also made it into the senior skins final and finished an impressive third.

Hadley also set new club records in the 50-metre breaststroke and 100m backstroke.

A total of 23 swimmers from the club attended the event and between them managed to win 34 trophies and achieve numerous personal best times.

Tim Quiney won one event and earned five other medals, while there were five for George Bates and two each for Aaron Biddle and Chris Jenkinson.

Jess Biddle, Max Armstrong and Oliver Shwertfeger took won each.

Head coach Chris Hadley was also really pleased with the attitude and commitment shown by Fraser Burgess, Same Dorgan, Guy Duffy, George Grech, Steven Nock, Holden Taylor-Adams, Matthew Whiteside, Georgia Appleton, Anna Cosson, Rebecca Hadley, Megan Oswell, Felicity Quiney and Isabella Trow.
