TORRENTIAL rain at the weekend meant both Sunday Leagues suffered washouts.
None of the matches in the BRT Redditch and South Warwickshire Combination League survived an intense downpour onto pitches which had already being sodden by the recent wet weather.
A handful of games in the Bromsgrove and District League did survive.
In the WA Harris Cup, Bromsgrove United saw off Hare and Hounds 2-1 in the weekend’s shock result.
The Division Two side saw off the top division’s runaway leaders thanks to goals for Ashley Woodfield captain Scott Bagley.
In Division One, Belbroughton played out a 6-3 victory over Santiago RV in the driving rain and gales.
Goals from Andy Innes, Kyle Frater and Jamie Gatfield fired them 3-0 ahead.
Santiago were let back into the game, eventually equalising with 20 minutes to go.
But Belbroughton went straight down the pitch to score their fourth, a high-class 40-yard dipping strike from Gatfield.
Further goals from Frater and Andy Lee restored the three-goal buffer.
