BROMSGROVE returned to winning ways in the West Midlands Division One with a 4-0 victory over Kingswinford.

It was not all plain sailing though as they had seven first-team players missing including captain Laurence Shah who bizarrely didn’t turn up for the game.

This gave Mark Burscher and Derryn Edwards the chance to make their first-team debuts and the welcome return of brother Bevan Edwards after a 10-month absence.

With all the changes Bromsgrove struggled to stamp their authority but midfield dynamo.

Tom Green, playing at right back, showed creativity to break down the flank and his ball found Matthew Russell who unleashed a thunderbolt from the edge of the area to put Bromsgrove into the lead.

Tom Jennings, Karl Troth and Burscher scored to complete the win. Bromsgrove go to Stafford on Saturday.
