POINT-TO-POINT: Heavy rain has forced the postponement of the Albrighton and Woodland meeting due to be held at Chaddesley Corbett on Sunday.
Organisers decided to rearrange the event after efforts to drain the course did not work.
A statement from organisers said: “Every effort has been made to keep the course drained, but due to the amount of rain we have already had, and the forecast for the coming days it is with regret that we have to announce the postponement of Sunday’s meeting.”
“A new date is being sought and an announcement will be made in due course.”
The event had been set to see the likes of rider Tom Weston in action, as well as trainers from the region.
