MEADOW Park FC are teaming up with Worcestershire FA to promote girls football with a special open day.

The girls only social fun day will be held on Saturday, June 14 at the Ryland Centre between 9.30am and 11.30am.

Meadow Park FC are registered as a Girls Hub Club and as such have a responsibility to support the development of football in the area.

The event will introduce girls to the fun and social side of football, as well as some skills to help with self esteem and fitness.

It is open to girls aged six to eight years old who may be new to the game, or may be playing but not with a team.

Players will be on hand to take part in sessions and answer questions.
