JACK Walters avenged his final defeat last season to see off Mick Collings to win Bromsgrove Tennis Club’s Men’s B final.

The improvement of junior champion Walters was obvious as he swept past Collings in two sets to get his revenge.

Walters then teamed up with Pete Morris to take the Men’s Doubles title against Collings and Tim Roland, again in straight sets to give him a second title.

The ladies A final saw a tight first set as Sophie Oliver took on Sophie Cornelius.

Oliver fought hard to take it 7-5 and then won the second set more comfortably to secure the title.

It was another title double as she teamed up with Steve Jones for a straightforward victory in the mixed doubles against Tim Roland and Sarah Davies.

A late start for the Ladies A doubles saw Imogen Sinclair and Cornelius deny Oliver a third title.

Oliver and partner Millie Doherty had no answer to Sinclair and Cornelius who romped to a two set victory.

In the Ladies B, Davies put her mixed loss behind her to team up with Connie Wedelich and secure the win against Anne Simper and Sue Forrest.
