BROMSGROVE Sporting may be without three key players for tonight's rearranged FA Vase Second Round clash at Borrowash Victoria.

Striker Aaron Daniels, Craig Jones and Will Tibbetts are all struggling for availability because of work commitments for the rescheduled game.

Victoria are currently unable to play at their home ground because of vandalism, so the Vase tie had been set to be held at nearby Graham Street Prims.

But heavy rain saw the clash cancelled and switched to South Normanton Athletic (7.45pm ko) tonight.

It's a setback for manager Paul Smith, who is already without the suspended Chris Conway and cup-tied pair Lewis Clarke and Jack Wilson.

He said: "The fans and players were all having breakfast at the ground when the news came in, so we were all disappointed.

"Borrowash moved heaven and earth to get the game on. They are playing at a ground which is right by their own but the FA would not allow the match to be moved to there.

"It means the game is on Wednesday which is causing us a few problems and I am waiting to hear back from Aaron Daniels, Craig Jones and Will Tibbetts.

"We're already two lads cup-tied and one suspended so we will have to bring in a few of the young lads."

Their reward for a victory is a Third Round clash at Thurnby Nirvana, who play in the ChromaSport andTrophies United Counties League, on December 6.

Smith added: "We've got the hardest draw in the league, it's going to be a really tough clash if we get through.

"But we've already got the better of some good sides to get this far."

This week's Vase clash has seen the Midlands Football League Premier game cancelled with a new date set to be arranged.

On Saturday, Sporting then entertain Racing Club Warwick in the league (3pm ko).
