WESTBURY Celtic under-11s clinched the Phillip Jeynes Memorial Cup with a 2-1 win over Eckington, with goals for man-of-the-match Joseph Bunyan and Sam Hurdman.

Captain Hurdman sealed the silverware with a last-gasp strike.

Bromsgrove Blades under-14s sealed third place with a 6-1 win over local rivals Wythall.

They dominated the game from start to finish, and Nick Jones and Lewis Panting both bagged braces, with Curtis Smith and Evan Houghton chipping in to make it six.

Blades are holding open trials for next season's under-15s squad.

Players must be currently in Year Nine to be eligible.

They will take place on Friday, June 5, and June 12 (6.30pm) at Aston Fields School playing fields off Rigby Lane.
