THE only game in this week’s Redditch and South Warwickshire Combination League Premier Division between Millfield Rovers and South Redditch was an eight-goal bank holiday bonanza.
Jamie Wright scored in the 11th and 52nd minutes as South Redditch took a 2-0 lead.
But a change in shape saw Millfields hit back and take a 3-2 lead. Wright completed his hat-trick and Ashley Parker made it 4-3 to Redditch but Millfields levelled from the spot.
It was raining goals in Division One as Red Lion roared to the top of the Division, with a 16-0 victory, Dan Bearcroft, Mitch Sutor and Dan Nurthen were left sharing the hat-trick match ball.
Jake Booton and Josh Larner also feasted at the goal-scoring table as Coldfield hit double figures at AFC Lions, while Courtney Lloyd scored three as Redolence Park saw off Redditch Cross 6-2.
Andrew Squibb was also in the goals as Winyates Wanderers beat Studley Railway 4-1 in the BSA Cup.
