FAIRFIELD Villa face double derby jeopardy when they take on local rivals Droitwich Spa.

Villa tackle their rivals twice away in a week when they go to them in the Midlands Division Two on Saturday (3pm ko) and then repeat the trip in the Worcestershire Junior Cup on Saturday, September 26 (2.30pm ko).

The village side are struggling for form and consistency in the 2015-16 campaign.

In contrast, Spa are fourth with four wins out of six.

After Saturday’s loss to Rostance Edwards, Villa are 10th in the table with six points from as many games.

Joint manager Paul Oakes said: “At the moment it’s two steps forward and one step back.

“I think once we get all of our players available, we will start picking up results.

“Confidence is a bit low but I am confident we will surprise a few teams.

“But now we have two very tough games against Droitwich.

They are no longer the side you can use as a springboard to build some momentum, they are a good side.”

James Finn and Rory Mc- Farlane should return.
