BROMSGROVE Men’s seconds recorded an 8-0 win over Kings Heath.

Mark Gormley opened the scoring after good work form Matt Allen, Will Gompertz and Harry Meads.

This soon became 3-0 in the space of five minutes as Matt Russell added to last week tally with a quickfire double with one cool finish and the other a cute dink over the keeper.

Before half-time, Bromsgrove made it four as captain Charlie Parke opted to taking a penalty flick won by the persistence of Doug Owen.

His flick lacked so little power that the keeper dived the wrong way but managed to get up and dive the other way to nearly keep it out.

Luckily for Parke it managed to sneak over the line if not quite reach the back board.

The second half was the same dominant story, despite a longer than usual half-time break due to disappearing umpires.

Russell completed his second successive hat-trick with a neat finish in to the roof of the net.

Bromsgrove keeper Jed Parke finally touched the ball on the hour as Kings Heath finally got a shot on target but it was easily saved.

The brick wall of youngsters Reeves and Dawson meant that Kings Heath were unable to mount any serious threat throughout the game.

Russell added his fourth with a tap in at the back post.

It was then time for Gormley to shine as he completed his hat-trick with two tap-ins from inches after from good work from the impressive Harry Meads and Parke.
