BARNT Green skipper Andy Sutton insists his players will be playing for pride when they bring down the curtain on this season's Birmingham League campaign with a trip to Kenilworth Wardens.
The Green suffered the frustration of another abandoned fixture last Saturday after their game with rock bottom Leamington Spa was called off without a ball being bowled.
Sutton revealed: "We stuck around for quite a while in the hope that we could try and get a game in but the rain just kept coming. Then when we went home, the sun came out."
Sutton will be forced to ring the changes for the Kenilworth contest as Matt Lamb, Ed Pollock and Josh Poysden will all be on duty with Warwickshire in the Royal London Cup Final against Surrey.
Sutton insisted: "We will be looking to win and finish as high up the table as possible."
