BROMSGROVE Rugby Club's under 17s smashed their way into the semi-finals of a national competition with a convincing win.
They demolished Oadby Wyggestonians by 44 points to nil in the regional final of the RFU's U17 competition at Finstall Park on March 26.
The young Boars team will now play a national semi-final against Southport at Stourbridge RFC's Stourton Park ground on Sunday April 9 (kick-off 11.30am).
The winners of that match will play in the national final on Sunday April 30.
Meanwhile Bromsgrove's U17s will host Dudley Kingswinford at Finstall Park this Sunday in the North Midlands Junior Cup semi-final (kick-off 11am).
