FAIRFIELD Villa brought down the curtain on their Midland League Division Two campaign with a goalless draw against Coton Green on Bank Holiday Monday to consolidate fifth place in the table.
But they'll be no let-up at Fairfield for the time being as they look to finish the season with some silverware.
Fairfield face Alvis Sporting Club in the Presidents Cup Final on Tuesday, May 9 at Stourport Swifts' Walshes Meadow ground ( 7.45pm kick off).
Spokesman Paul Oakes confirmed management duo of Wayne Davies and Danny Hobbis were determined to complete the season on a high.
Oakes said: "To finish fifth is a massive improvement on the previous season. Despite the 0-0 scoreline, it was a really good game against Coton Green with both sides creating plenty of chances and we will need to take that form into the cup final."
