BR0MSGROVE head coach Dan Protherough has warned his players there can be no let-up as they prepare to take on local rivals Camp Hill in Midlands One West this Saturday at Finstall Park (2.15pm kick-off).

Frustrated Bromsgrove haven't been able to play a league game since December 4, during which time, promotion rivals Burton plus Dudley Kingswinford have been able to open up a gap between them.

Protherough said: "We cannot afford to let that gap grow any further, which means we need to be at the top of our game and everyone needs to tune in and focus.

"We beat Camp Hill earlier in the season away from home, but we only scored three tries and failed to pick up a bonus point.

"I expect another physical challenge on Saturday and we have to be prepared for that.

"We have some very tough games coming up, which includes Dudley Kingswinford the following week, so we need to be at our best.

"But with so many games still to go, they'll be plenty of twists and turn yet."

Protherough will wait on the fitness of his influential No. 8 Tom Hardwick before naming his side to face Camp Hill.

Hardwick has been struggling with a shoulder injury and Protherough added: "It's 50-50 whether Tom plays. If he's not 100 per cent fit, he won't play."
